  At the end of that appointment, I was going on vacation so I booked my next two appointments for two weeks later. When I showed for the first one at 2 pm, the receptionist asked me why I was there. I indicated that I had an appointment at 2 pm as well as a 9 am appointment for the next day. She said that she did not have it in the schedule nor did she have the one for the next day. The physiotherapist was just walking in the door so she told me to take a seat and she would 'see what they could do'. But by that point I had had enough and told them to forget it, I would find somewhere else to get my physio.

  Being my first physiotherapy experience, I was not sure what to expect. My first interaction was with Mel, the receptionist. A happy, greet you with a smile, fun to be around type of lady. She answered all my questions and took care of everything needed to get me through the initial process smoothly. Every business would be greatful to have such a excellent receptionist such as her.

  I find this place unprofessional and unorganized. Even when you are getting a treatment, you don't seem to have their attention, they are talking amongst themselves. So I wasted $150 of my benefits by going to this place. I have now found a much better place that is providing me much better physio as well - completely different type of treatment that makes much more sense for my type of medical issue. I would not recommend this business anyone.

  Physiotherapist assistants, Stephanie and Jenny are very fun! I felt like I was part of the team. Not a patient but a friend I could joke around with. They know how to make me feel comfortable in uncomfortable situations and accommodate any needs I may need. Unfortunately I did not have a massage done but my girlfriend has and Jen in her opinion was very helpful and solved the issue she sought Jen out to fix. Although I have not worked with her, I have spoken with Jen and she is a lot of fun, professional and friendly.

  Every business can become busy. Bowmanville Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Centre, like most medical offices and every other appointment based operation, on occasion you may have to wait a few minutes past your scheduled time. I'm not the only individual seeking assistance, I understand that and I'm sure you do too but the waits are not extreme and do not happen very often. As a result of multiple patients I can conclude that the reason they are busy is the popularity of this location. Must be something to do with the exciting, fun, friendly and happy environment. Organization and multitasking is clearly a key element in the personalities of everyone at this location.

  When I showed up for my first appointment, I found out that it was canceled. I was told that they could not get a hold of me. Apparently, when I booked the appointment, someone wrote my number down incorrectly. The second appointment, I had to wait 20 minutes after my appointment time before I could get in to start my assessment. Part-way through the assessment, someone knocked on the door and the physiotherapist answered it, walked out of the room without a word to me and left me there for 5 minutes. He then came back in and picked up where he left off.

  The third appointment I had to wait 15 minutes after my appointment time before I could see someone and then it was not my physiotherapist, it was someone else - the physiotherapist was working on someone (appeared to me that they had double-booked).

  Such an amazing clinic. I have been working here for my college placement and it is a great place to work. Everyone is so friendly and I have learned so much. I would recommend this clinic to anyone in the Bowmanville area.

  Such a fun place to get physio! I work close and I love dropping in to get maintenance treatments for my hip. They also have massage which I get on the same day. The physios know what they are doing. The place is busy and after attending for a while I realized it's because of the quality treatments Terelle gives.

  I was assigned physiotherapist Terelle. She walked me through the assessment, answering the questions I had and explaining how the experience would be. Between her and Kevin, another physiotherapist, I felt very comfortable. Being a shift worker, I would on occasion have to work with Kevin, who was also friendly and professional.

  I can assure you that the experience you will have at Bowmanville Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Centre will be the most professional, friendly and happy experience you will have at any physiotherapy centre, anywhere!

  I have been attending the Bowmanville Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Centre for a few months and I enjoy every moment of it. The staff are some of the most professional and mature individuals I have ever met.
